In 2006, the South Beach Wine & Food Festival celebrated its fifth anniversary and became one of the largest and most well-known festivals of its kind in the country.
The 2010 Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Food & Wine will take place Thursday, February 25 – Sunday, February 28. Some of the industry’s most recognized and respected principals will again converge on Miami Beach to entertain and educate thousands of guests. - :

Classes for those interested in learning about the history, terroir, grapes, and philosophies behind each great region. Hone your tasting skills and zero in on your wine preferences. Five different wines will be sampled at each class. Class starts at 6:15 pm.

April 22 - Bordeaux: Mastering the basics
Classes will be taught by Megan Wiig, a graduate of the prestigious Organisation Internationale du Vin et des Eaux de Vie where she studied the marketing, management, and economics of global wine and spirits industries. Megan has presented wine lectures internationally and is fluent in French and German, in addition to her native English. Her passion for wine and international cultures has led to a successful career in wine education. - :
